Today we went to Carmel Valley to see Grandma Cindy and visit the pumpkin patch at Earthbound Farms. It was very exciting to see all the pumpkins. Cameron was really excited to see the pumpkins after the long drive and grabbed as many as she could and climbed all over the piles of pumpkins.
After exploring the pumpkins we had lunch and then went into the kids garden. Cameron and Riley really enjoyed exploring the TeePee. We walked through the thicket, relaxation garden, flower garden, and herb garden. We saw lots of different flowers and experienced the different smells. Cameron found lots of good rocks, bird feathers, and a very tiny pumpkin which she carried around with her until she fell asleep on the way home.
Before we left we all picked out pumpkins to bring home and paint. I asked Cameron to pick up the big pumpkin but she just looked at me and said "Its too heavy mommy!"
When we got home the next day she showed Tim her pumpkins and asked him to help her paint them. We had to hide Riley's pumpkin because she decided they should paint them all. To see more pictures and read more about our trip, go to the
