Let's play!!!

Cameron has been in a very playful mood. She is finally enjoying her swing. She usually would only spend out 5 minutes in the swing before she would be ready for something else. Now that she has discovered the toys attached to the swing she can spend a good amount of time playing with each one, or staring at herself and the birdies that fly above her head.

Because she can pull herself up, the bouncy seat is no longer a place we feel comfortable letting her play. We bought a baby einstein jumper and activity seat. Its got different toys all the way around and she can spin herself to the next toy when she gets bored. This has turned out to be a good investment and its only a week old. She spends about 5-10 minutes per toy and will go around a few times before she asked to be taken out.

On Saturday she played with her frog from Aunt Yvette. Its a puppet and has a ribbit-ribbit sound box in its throat so it makes froggy noises. She loved it and gave lots of kisses to the frog. PJ was quite dismayed to see Cameron playing with the frog. He has had his eye on that frog since Yvette brought it home from the store in May. He sat close to her and gave her sad eyes the whole time she was playing. He would then walk by and see if she would drop it so he could snag it.

Cameron will drop anything if PJ gets close enough for her to grab him. She loves to grab his jowls and try and kiss him. PJ uses this to his advantage. Cameron brought home her painted pumpkin this week and PJ immediately recognized the pumpkin as a sweet treat even with its coat of paint. While Cameron was playing with the pumpkin PJ came over and laid next to her and waited for her to drop the pumpkin. Once she raised her hands in delight he took the pumpkin. But Cameron didn't mind at all, she liked seeing her puppy so happy.
